Checklist for Donating Your Device
- Before listing your device on Yantra Daan, please ensure it meets the following criteria:
- Is the device in working condition?
- The device powers on and functions without major hardware or software issues.
- Is the device less than 3 years old?
- Devices older than 3 years may not be as useful due to outdated hardware or software.
- Is the device reusable?
- The device can be cleaned, formatted, and used by a student for their studies.
- Are all essential accessories available?
- Include the charger, power cable, or any necessary components for the device to operate.
- Have you removed all personal data?
- Back up your files and perform a factory reset to ensure no personal data is shared.
- Does the device meet minimum specifications?
- For Laptops: At least 4GB RAM, 128GB storage, and a working battery.
- For Tablets/Other Devices: Functioning touch screen, reasonable battery life, and updated software.
- Does the device look presentable?
– Minor scratches are okay, but ensure it is clean and free from major physical damage.
